Week 2 of my Recover Blanket went great!! If you saw my reel on socials about it, you will have seen that I also started The Conqueror Challenge during this blanket knit and it really made things extra exciting for me. I completed the 156km challenge (walking the tracks of the colourful holiday of Dia de los Muertos in Mexico) in 8 days!! Something I never would have thought possible in the first place (because let's face it, I wasn't chasing the pizza delivery guy!! :-P )
If you haven't yet, you need to check out The Conqueror Challenge! It is a fantastic app that will have you walking, cycling, running, swimming or any other way of movement through other countries, or even fantasy realms (like Lord of the Rings or Star Wars)! It makes movement so much more exciting as it takes you on wonderful journeys, has you collecting postcards on the way and rewards you with a WICKED!!! real medal by the end of it. And if that wasn't enough, you also get the choice for proceeds to go to the charity of your choice...would you like to plant trees or save bottles from entering the ocean?! I am truly hooked. If you would like to check it out and sign up for your first challenge, there currently is a 25% OFF sale and you can grab an extra 10% OFF if you use this link to sign up!!
