Our 3rd design is finally here. The No Calorie Cupcake yarn holders. Crafted right here in Stitchcraft Manor, with love, lots of swearing, and definitely nerdiness!
Our yarn holders are 3D printed and designed to fit 100g and 20g yarn cakes and will also fit commercial balls.
Our yarn holders are designed to hold your yarn safely, securely and away from children's fingers, dog slobber, kitty fur, dementor attacks and general wear and tear when working on your project or even just when storing your WIP. Great for your lap, side table, project bag or on the dashboard of your DeLorean.
The holders are printed with PLA made from recycled plastic, which is non-toxic and biodegradable.
Note: 3D printing works by heating up plastic filament to 210 degrees and then builds up the object layer by layer, in millions of 0.2mm thick layers, to create the finished product. This is a very long process and unlike poured plastic, that is set into moulds, the finish is not shiny and smooth, but more matt with visible printing layers and uneven surfaces. Please refer to close up images for an idea of the finish.
